Our Origin Story
Back in 2015, we started offering working capital to small businesses. But, we soon realized that a lot of loan applications were getting rejected just because they didn’t meet the standard credit score, collateral, and underwriting requirements set by the industry.
We saw potential in many of these businesses, despite their imperfections on paper. They had strong cashflow, a promising future, but just didn’t fit the mold of what traditional lenders considered “ideal.” So, we took a chance and started funding some of these businesses anyway.
And what do you know, they proved us right! They were just as responsible and creditworthy as businesses with a perfect lending profile. After a year of successful funding, we realized the need for a brand that caters specifically to these businesses with potential. And that’s how Business Finance Source was born! Since then, we’ve been proudly lending a helping hand to businesses that may not have the standard criteria, but still deserve a chance.
